I didn't know that! That is awful and horrifying! The pictures of the hunters with their kills is especially sickening. Another reason not to vote for Palin and McCain.
I know you don't want to believe this but there is more to the story. You have two issues going on Whit. Raising animals for food and the way it is done and wild animals and hunting or predator control whatever they want to call it. Hunting is something that has been going on for thousands of years. Yes it would be nice if it was only done as self defense when someone is being attacked or to eat (American Indians) would not have survived had they not killed the buffalo to use for food, clothing etc. I personally have no interest in hunting, food or otherwise. You and your sister are the generation that will change a lot of things...maybe one of them will to support new legislation that will make farming, hunting more humane. Once again, on my soapbox...let's begin with banning abortion of defenseless infants that surely have the right to life just as much as a wild animal. I love that you are questioning things. My cataract surgery is tomorrow, have to be there at 6:00 in the morning. Doug will let you know how all went when we get home. I am going to be on valium :) Love you. Mom

Its not about the presidential election or anything having to do with party selection.
Lets let the natural predators control the moose and caribou populations... they have been doing it longer than we have.
